Lori Callaghan
Lori grew up in Rivers, Manitoba and received her Bachelor of Education from Brandon University. She moved to Alberta to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher and making a difference in the lives of children. She rose to the challenge of her profession: teaching in a private school in Calgary for six years until her first child was born, tutoring privately, working with homeschool students, and creating a unique educational company servicing teachers and homeschool students with quality teaching units. Lori has loved writing her whole life and won her first poetry contest and had her writing published when she was ten years old. She has written several children’s books and has several more on the go. She likes to create things that didn’t exist before. She is a dreamer and a hard worker and makes things happen.
Lori lives in Carstairs, Alberta with her wonderful and crazy husband and five little adventurers. She enjoys seeing the world, camping, a good time with friends, special moments with family, laughing with her children, gardening, music of all kinds, and of course writing.
